Ruby Electric is looking for a full-time Experienced Electrician in Springfield, IL.

As an Experienced Electrician, you provide your own hand tools, but we will provide nearly all the rest of the equipment needed to complete jobs.

Your day as an Experienced Electrician is a rewarding journey of problem-solving and expertise. You
000are always on the move, leading or assisting jobs for the diverse markets we serve, from residential and commercial to industrial and agricultural. You may install or repair a complex electrical system for a new business, or inspect and diagnose an electrical issue in a home. In addition to general electric service work, you also assist with generator installations, maintenance, and repairs.

You are a crucial link in our service, traveling locally within a 30-40 mile radius of Springfield, communicating with customers, and ensuring their electrical systems are safe and functional.

We are looking for someone who can work 7:30 am - 4 pm, Monday through Friday, while meeting the following qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience as an electrician
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to climb ladders, work in attics and crawl spaces, and work in extreme weather conditions
• Ability to provide own hand tools
• Ability to travel about 30-40 miles from Springfield

• Knowledge of wiring, 24-480 volt systems, troubleshooting, and reading blueprints
• Ability to run equipment (excavators, bucket truck, scissor lift, backhoe, bobcat, etc.)
• Generator installation or service experience

Salary: $22.00 - $36.00 per hour
