This position performs a variety of tasks related to the maintenance, repair, and upkeep of roads, bridges, and other related structures and features.

Anticipated Starting Salary: $6,912 monthly;
Full Range: $6,912 - $8,634 monthly

• Operate CDL Class A licensed vehicles.
• Perform labor related to maintenance of roadways.
• Assist in snow and ice control during adverse conditions.
• Perform labor related to maintenance of roadside and right-of-way.
• Carry out routine housekeeping duties at headquarters.
• Remove and dispose of trash, dead animals, and debris along highways.
• Maintain on‑job records.
• Perform other duties as reasonably within the scope of the position.

• Completion of four years of high school or equivalent education.
• Possession of a Class “A” CDL with an appropriate endorsement (X or N) and no air‑brake restrictions.
• One year of driving experience immediately preceding appointment, free of incidents that could result in suspension or revocation of the license.

This role requires a Class “A” CDL with an N or X endorsement and an ability to perform arduous outdoor labor in varied conditions, including hot, cold, wet, windy, and confined spaces. Candidates must be able to respond to emergencies and possibly work overtime or outside normal hours.
