Lead Warehouse Associate

Lead Warehouse Associate role at Cencora's distribution facility in Romeoville, Illinois. Oversees inbound, outbound, and internal warehouse operations including inventory reconciliation, shipment preparation, and process exception investigation to ensure accurate product movement and order fulfillment.

• Process inbound, outbound, and internal warehouse activities for accurate product movement and order fulfillment
• Prepare shipments and staging areas while reconciling inventory discrepancies and transaction variances
• Monitor stock levels and storage conditions to identify replenishment needs and service risks
• Investigate damaged shipments and process exceptions to determine root causes and support resolution
• Document shipment status, inventory updates, and operational exceptions for warehouse visibility

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• 3+ years warehouse, distribution, shipping, receiving, or inventory control experience
• Knowledge of warehouse operations across receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping
• Proficiency in inventory control principles and transaction accuracy verification
• Ability to investigate and resolve routine to moderately complex operational issues
• Clear communication skills with internal stakeholders on shipment and stock matters
• Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) or equivalent certification preferred

Up to $30.79 per hour; $52,000 - $81,620 annual salary range
