We are looking for a Leasing Coordinator to join its West Hartford team! This is a great opportunity for a polished, organized professional who enjoys a mix of leasing, administration, customer service, and relationship-building. You’ll be a key point of contact for residents, prospective residents, vendors, applicants, and internal teams while partnering closely with the Property Manager to keep the community and office running smoothly.

What You’ll DoBe the face of the community
  • Welcome residents, applicants, vendors, and visitors with professionalism and excellent customer service
  • Answer and direct incoming calls and respond to leasing inquiries
  • Build positive relationships with residents, prospective residents, vendors, and team members
Keep the leasing process moving
  • Respond to inquiries from the company website and marketing platforms
  • Conduct weekly property tours and show available apartments
  • Prepare leases, move-in documentation, and related paperwork
  • Coordinate applicant background and credit screening
  • Maintain waitlists, call lists, and accurate resident files
  • Inspect apartments before move-ins and after move-outs
  • Assist with resident moves and relocations, including moves related to construction
Keep the office organized
  • Process vendor invoices and maintain vendor/resident information
  • Create, close, and file resident work orders
  • Prepare correspondence, memos, reports, and other documents
  • Attend meetings and prepare meeting minutes
  • Assist the Property Manager, Executive Team, and office staff with projects and special assignments

Experience with
AI-powered productivity tools such as Microsoft Copilot is a plus. We’re looking for someone who is open to using technology to streamline workflows, draft correspondence, organize information, and enhance the resident experience — while always maintaining accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance.

What You'll Bring
  • High school diploma required
  • 2+ years of related professional experience
  • Background in property management, residential leasing, housing, administration, or customer service preferred
  • Housing certifications/designations are a plus
  • Ability to work 100% onsite in West Hartford, CT
