Job OverviewThe Operations Project Management Office (OPMO) is seeking an experienced Business Consultant to support high-visibility initiatives within the Operations organization. This role focuses on business analysis, requirements development, and readiness activities for a large-scale Salesforce implementation
. The Business Consultant will collaborate extensively with cross-functional stakeholders, including Operations leaders, technology teams, suppliers, and procurement partners.
- Define and document business and system scope, objectives, and requirements based on user needs and industry standards
- Lead business analysis efforts supporting Salesforce platform implementation
- Analyze business processes and develop process models, procedures, and job aids to support operational readiness
- Translate business needs into clear functional and non-functional requirements
- Facilitate requirements gathering workshops and stakeholder meetings
- Drive impact analysis and support escalation analysis and resolution of complex issues
- Apply critical thinking to develop recommendations while evaluating risk and business impact
- Identify gaps in processes and recommend process improvement opportunities
- Support multiple initiatives in parallel while ensuring alignment with business strategy
- Communicate complex decisions clearly and effectively to internal and external stakeholders
- Guide and mentor less-experienced Business Analysts
- Build strong relationships across Operations, technology teams, and vendor partners
Skills & Qualifications
Required:
- 5+ years of business analysis experience
- Proven experience leading business analysis for medium to large-scale projects
- Strong experience with impact analysis, requirements management, and documentation
- Ability to lead requirements gathering sessions and influence requirements direction
- Excellent written and verbal communication and facilitation skills
- Experience collaborating with business and systems subject matter experts
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives
Preferred:
- Experience with Salesforce business and/or technical components
- Financial Services, Insurance, or regulated-industry experience
- Experience supporting enterprise transformation or modernization initiatives
