Headquartered in Easthampton, the agency has been serving families for nearly 50 years and offers foster care, in‑home therapy, outpatient therapy, treatment residences, and therapeutic day programs.

Residential Counselors work closely with residents in therapeutic group homes to guide them toward success while maintaining appropriate professional boundaries. Your duties will include:
- Implementing treatment plans with youth
- Leading/modeling activities of daily living using structure and routine
- Supporting a trauma‑informed care philosophy
- Assessing and evaluating situations
- Communicating effectively with parents, schools, DCF, DMH, and other community supports
- Gradually assimilating into the NCYF culture and developing competencies through ongoing training
- High School Diploma or equivalent with experience in youth services;
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred. - Working knowledge of trauma‑informed care principles.
- Adult & Child CPR/First Aid/AED certification preferred (staff training provided).
- Approved CORI & DCF background checks (performed by the EEC).
- Approved driving background check.
- Valid driving license and reliable transportation.
- Must be at least 21 years old.
