Job Overview
We are a growing mechanical contractor seeking an experienced Project Manager for HVAC and plumbing projects. This is an opportunity for a seasoned professional with substantial construction industry experience, specifically in plumbing and HVAC systems.
Base Pay Range$/yr – $/yr
Responsibilities- Oversee and manage all aspects of HVAC and plumbing projects from inception to completion.
- Review and negotiate contracts with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring deadlines are met.
- Monitor project budgets and financials, making necessary adjustments to achieve financial objectives.
- Coordinate and communicate effectively with team members, clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Ensure projects comply with safety and building regulations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the project lifecycle.
- Provide regular project updates to stakeholders, including progress reports and forecasts.
- Continuously improve project management processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and quality.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction project management with a mechanical contractor.
- Proven track record of managing large‑scale construction projects from start to finish.
- Strong knowledge of construction management processes, methods, and best practices.
- Expertise in contract review, negotiation, and administration.
- Proficient in project scheduling and budgeting.
- Comprehensive understanding of HVAC and plumbing systems.
- Strong financial acumen with the ability to manage project financials effectively.
- Proficient in relevant software applications.
- Exceptional problem‑solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues.
- Strong commitment to safety and regulatory compliance.
- Mechanical aptitude is a must.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field preferred.
