Solid Rock Recruiting partners with forward‑thinking commercial construction companies to connect exceptional talent with outstanding opportunities. Our client, a respected commercial drywall contractor in Western Massachusetts, is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their growing team.
Position OverviewWe're seeking a Commercial Drywall Project Manager to oversee multiple commercial drywall and metal framing projects in the Western Massachusetts area. This role offers comprehensive benefits, including a company truck and gas card, demonstrating our client's commitment to their team members' success.
Key Responsibilities- Manage multiple commercial drywall projects from pre‑construction through completion
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans
- Coordinate with superintendents, foremen, and subcontractors to ensure project milestones are met
- Review and process submittals, RFIs, and change orders
- Conduct regular project meetings and site visits
- Manage material procurement and delivery schedules
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards
- Maintain strong client relationships and communication
- 5+ years of commercial drywall project management experience
- Proficiency in construction management software (On‑Screen Takeoff, Quick Bid, or similar)
- Strong understanding of metal framing, drywall systems, and commercial construction processes
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Strong communication and leadership abilities
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field
- Experience with BIM and project management software
- OSHA 30 certification
- History of successful commercial project completions
- Estimating experience
