This position is responsible for the enrollment activities of various Student insurance accounts. This work includes handling both manual and batch data‑entry of enrolling and disenrolling members into insurance Enrollment and Claims systems. Conduct and offer customer service for members/schools/brokers, including answering phones and assisting customers with escalated enrollment issues. Responsibilities include creating detailed documentation of enrollment processes and assisting with enrollment reconciliation.
Inthis role, you will…
- Process manual and/or automated eligibility data into Enrollment and Claims systems accurately while meeting or exceeding productivity standards.
- Follow Wellfleet standard enrollment processes and adhere to HIPAA privacy guidelines.
- Work with Customer Service representatives, Account Managers, and clients to resolve escalated enrollment issues in a professional manner.
- Resolve enrollment issues and variances arising during the enrollment process and billing periods.
- Maintain plan‑level data in Enrollment systems that support client website functionality, and audit client websites for correct functionality and messaging.
- Document processes and procedures for Enrollment‑related functions as required.
- Coordinate with Account Managers the student selection and timing of e‑mail blast campaigns.
- Communicate issues, concerns, etc. to supervisor.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Minimum of Associate degree (Bachelor’s degree preferred). Equivalent work experience may be substituted.
- Skilled in working with MS Office suite products, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Access.
- Knowledge of enrollment policies/regulations and the ability to interpret them in relation to specific incidents.
- High level of organizational skills and abilities and strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining professional etiquette at all times.
- Knowledge of data entry practices, principles, methods, and techniques.
- Analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to be flexible in prioritizing workloads to meet changing deadlines.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.

The base hourly range is $22.00 to $26.00. This range anticipates the low and high end of the wages for this position. Actual wages will vary and are based on factors such as a candidate’s qualifications, skills and competencies.
