Baystate Dental is looking to hire a part-time Dental Hygienist, for our office located in Springfield, Massachusetts.

This role focuses on delivering high-quality dental care through comprehensive oral health services and patient education. Your expertise will contribute to our mission of delivering top-tier oral health care, enhancing patients’ quality of life, and building lasting relationships within the community. Schedule:
This is a part-time position with flexibility in the days you choose to work.

Baystate Dental is a well-established, successful practice, where we truly value our hygienists and the important role they play in our success. To ensure our hygienists get off to a successful start, the candidate we hire will be provided a short training program, so when they begin to see patients, they will feel confident and comfortable in their new position within our team.
Great for new grads!
We understand the importance technology plays in providing top notch dental care, and strive to keep up with the latest. We are currently utilizing hygiene lasers; 3D printers;
Primescan;
Guided Biofilm Therapy (GBT), a game changer in the hygiene world; and Overjet AI. You’ll have the best technology to provide your patients with top quality care!
Previous experience is always a plus but we also encourage recent hygiene grads to apply as well, as we have the support and guidance to help new grads feel comfortable and successful. The Hygienist we hire must have an active hygiene license for the state of MA. New grads must be applying for license soon.

ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities:
- Perform routine dental cleanings and periodontal maintenance
- Conduct oral health assessments and take dental X-rays
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and preventative care
- Assist dentists with exams and treatments as needed
- Maintain accurate patient records, medical history and ensure compliance with industry regulations
- Follow sterilization and infection control protocols
Qualifications:
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in dental Hygiene from an accredited program
- Active state license as a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to patient care and comfort
