Pediatric Critical Care
Cox Health is seeking a BC/BE pediatric critical care physician to join our existing team in providing coverage to our six-bed PICU at Cox Medical Center South. This long-established program serves more than 30 counties throughout Southwest Missouri and Northwest Arkansas.
Cox South is a 706-bed facility which includes a six-bed PICU staffed by 3 full-time physicians with PRN assistance. Our 33-bed Level III NICU is covered 24/7 by our team of Neonatologists and NNPs, and our 26-bed Pediatric Inpatient Unit is staffed by board-certified pediatric hospitalists. Other pediatric specialists include endocrinology, gastroenterology, neurology, and more. The Cox Air Care program and the Children's Ambulance provide services for newborn emergency transports.
Cox South has been affiliated with the Children's Miracle Network since 1986.
