Locums Mammography Radiology Physician

We are seeking a Locums Mammography Radiology Physician to provide coverage at a well-established hospital and outpatient imaging practice in Springfield, Massachusetts. This is a daytime-only opportunity with no weekends and no call, offering an excellent work-life balance while working alongside an experienced and supportive radiology team.

$400 Per Hour

• Hospital-based and outpatient imaging locations
• Established radiology group
• Team size: 8 radiologists (6 total after February)
• Full complement of experienced support staff
• Patient population:
  Adolescent, Child, Adult, and Geriatric

• Monday–Friday
• 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM
• No weekends
• No call

• Average number of cases per day:
  Variable
• Annual ER volume:
  Approximately 120 patients per day

• Interpret screening and diagnostic mammography studies
• Perform and interpret breast ultrasound examinations
• Collaborate with technologists, referring providers, and clinical staff
• Provide high-quality, patient-centered breast imaging services

• Stereotactic breast biopsies
• Breast ultrasound-guided biopsies
• Mammography-guided biopsies
• Breast localization procedures

• EMR:
  Epic
• Dictation:
  Power Scribe
• Imaging: PACS

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Radiology
• Fellowship training in Breast Imaging preferred
• Active Massachusetts medical license
• ACLS and BLS certifications
