Adjunct/Per Course Faculty, Psychology (Spring 2026 Semester)

Missouri State University invites applications for Adjunct/Per Course Faculty to teach a Psychology course in the Spring 2026 semester at the Springfield Campus. This position is a per-course appointment with a term of one semester.

    Springfield Campus, School of Mental Health and Behavioral Sciences

    Spring 2026 (per course)
  • Maximum credit hours: 12 per year
Primary Duties
  • Teach Psychology course(s) as assigned and prepare syllabi in the required format.
  • Maintain office hours and assist students as needed.
  • Submit timely grades and maintain accurate records.
Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in Psychology or a related field, or equivalent professional experience as approved by the Dean.
  • Valid teaching or professional experience in counseling or mental health (preferred).
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States; this position does not sponsor visas.
