Description of Primary DutiesThe Finance, Economics and Risk Management Department offers courses in Business, Business Law, Economics, Finance, and Insurance. Courses may be taught in traditional lecture format, online format, blended (mix of online and lecture), or as an iCourse (lectures delivered via iTunes-U). Per Course faculty teach 1-2 sections of assigned course(s), are available for student assistance relating to their course(s), maintain course records, determine and enter final course grades.
MinimumAcceptable Qualifications
Per Course Faculty should possess a master’s degree or the equivalent professional experience in a field determined acceptable by the Dean.
Additional QualificationsA JD is required to teach business law courses. All full time and part time faculty members in the COB are required to document their faculty qualification as part of their annual review. The determination is made annually on a 5-year rolling window basis.
