Overview

Saturday School Teacher (SY25-26, High School) at Veritas Prep. The role involves working with high school students during Saturday sessions focused on academic enrichment and support. Teachers plan and deliver engaging lessons that address academic needs, foster skill development, and inspire a love for learning.

• Design curricula and lessons that support students in their academic goals.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued and motivated.
• Assess student progress regularly and adjust instruction to meet individual needs.
• Collaborate with other educators and staff to ensure a coherent approach to teaching and student support.
• Engage students in critical thinking, discussion, and collaborative learning activities.
• Provide constructive feedback to students and foster a growth mindset.

Saturday School will occur two Saturdays per month beginning on 9/6/2025. The class hours are 8:15 AM–12:15 PM. We are seeking three people to run Saturday School in the following roles:

• Saturday School Supervisor
• Credit Recover Teacher
• Study Hall Teacher

• A passion for working with students and a commitment to their growth and development.
• A minimum of one to two years of teaching or tutoring experience preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
• Knowledge of high school curriculum standards and effective instructional strategies.
• Current authorization to work in the United States by the first day of employment.
