Conduct proactive hallway and common area monitoring to ensure safety and support positive behavior.

Engage students using restorative and strengths-based approaches to address behavior concerns.

Facilitate restorative conversations, mediation, or re-entry meetings with students and families when needed.

Academic Monitoring & Student Progress

Assist with implementation of MTSS academic and behavioral interventions, including documentation.

Family & Community Engagement

Serve as a liaison to families, ensuring timely communication regarding student progress, concerns, and celebrations.

Participate in family meetings, conferences, and support planning.

Support school events such as open houses, community nights, and student recognition activities.

Operational & School wide Support

Assist with lunch, transitions, arrival/dismissal, and other coverage as needed.

Help maintain safe and orderly learning spaces aligned with school expectations.

Support crisis-response protocols by de-escalating, stabilizing, and following safety procedures.

Contribute to a positive school climate by reinforcing school values, attending staff meetings, and supporting building-wide initiatives.

Attendance, Pickups, drops offs.

Experience working with middle school students in an educational or youth development setting required.

Demonstrated success building relationships with students, staff, and families.

Skilled in active monitoring, clear communication, and positive behavior reinforcement.

Strong organizational skills and ability to track student data.
