Job Description

This position covers four main areas:

The applications specialist provides technical support to the North American sales network, focusing on troubleshooting, problem identification, and developing technical solutions. They assist with quoting, engineering consultations, and support large or strategic sales presentations.

Key responsibilities include:

• Mill Site Optimization and Troubleshooting
  :
  Responding to mill problems, performing wet end audits, documenting equipment and paper properties, gathering engineering data, and highlighting upgrade opportunities.

The specialist should be comfortable with data collection, operational parameters, and physical property measurements.

• Quotation Preparation and Field Applications
  :
  Reviewing requests for quotations, determining equipment needs, generating technical proposals, and possibly supervising equipment startup, customer training, and trial execution.

Technical Sales Support
:
Providing technical arguments, generating marketing materials, and supporting product marketing efforts.

Requirements:

• Mechanical Engineering Degree or equivalent industry experience.
• Strong research, presentation, and technical argumentation skills.
• Experience with wet end operations and physical property testing methods.
• Mechanical aptitude and relationship-building skills from floor to management.
• Proactive approach to project generation through customer and market engagement.
