Job Summary
Senior Teller I (FT) – Tower Square Branch. Hourly: $18.20 – $27.64. Full‑time, non‑exempt. Reports to Branch Manager. Local travel as needed.
Responsibilities- Assists the Head Teller in supervising the teller line.
- Supports a level 1 branch based on teller staff FTE, deposits, transaction volumes, referral goals, cash limits and business deposit volumes.
- Processes various transactions to provide prompt and quality service to present and potential customers.
- Adheres to Westfield Bank customer service standards and applies the Service and Sales Process during customer interaction.
- Provides information on bank products to all potential customers – both retail and commercial.
- Assists in supervising the teller line by allocating and coordinating workflow in the absence of the Head Teller, guiding and advising subordinates, training new employees, and monitoring regulatory compliance.
- Ensures operational excellence and provides backup coverage to open or close a branch location when the lobby is not accessible to customers unless otherwise approved by Branch Administration.
- Proves cash drawer at end of day, meets assigned referral goals through referral of bank products and services, and may open new accounts as needed.
- Balances ATM, maintains security of cash vault, performs quarterly cash audits in the absence of the Head Teller, and performs independent teller transactions including night deposit bags.
- Completes BSA, AML, and other regulatory and continuing education as assigned.
- Adheres to all bank and regulatory policies and procedures specific to the position.
- Performs additional duties as requested.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of 6 months of previous cash handling experience.
