Radiology Technician - Orthopedics Specialist Practice - Per Diem
Trinity Health Of New England is seeking a Radiology Technician for our Outpatient Orthopedic Department. This part‑time, day‑shift role is per‑dime.
- What You Will Do:
- Performs general radiography, properly positions patients to obtain desired diagnostic results, places protective lead shields, and sets correct technical exposure.
- Executes a variety of related clerical tasks such as retrieving previous films, filing, answering phones, relaying messages, completing encounter forms, and scheduling.
- Educates patients and family members to ensure a transparent understanding of the care being provided.
- Performs quality checks on equipment in accordance with department procedure to produce the highest quality radiographs and digital images with the lowest practical dose of radiation in accordance with the ordered procedure.
- Demonstrates problem solving, conflict resolution, and positive communication through teamwork.
- Minimum Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree in Science or equivalent post‑secondary education; must be a graduate of an accredited diagnostic radiography program.
- A.R.R.T. registered and a current state license in radiography.
- Minimum of two (2) years of clinical internship and two (2) years of post‑educational experience as a Radiologic Technologist; requires strong working knowledge of radiographic equipment and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- CPR certification.
Pay Range: $27.35 - $43.75 per hour (pay is based on experience, skills, and education and may vary within the stated range based on location).
