You would be responsible to provide essential front office support in a busy Orthopedics practice, ensuring a smooth and professional experience for every patient. Manages appointment scheduling, patient check‑in/check‑out, insurance verification, copay collection, and referral coordination. Supports the clinical team with chart preparation and handles incoming calls and documentation. Ideal for someone who is detail‑oriented, organized, and comfortable multitasking in a fast‑paced, team‑based environment with a strong focus on customer service and efficiency.

What You Will Do
  • Greets and communicates with patients via phone or in person in a courteous and professional manner identifying themselves and their department.
  • Answers telephones in a timely, courteous, and professional manner utilizing appropriate scripting.
  • Processes calls to ensure patients are transferred to the appropriate staff member/provider in a timely manner.
  • Schedules patient appointments based on department protocols in order to maximize provider productivity.
Minimum Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience with in a medical office or billing department preferred. Knowledge of patient billing and medical terminology preferred
  • Excellent keyboard skills. Requires proficiency in a Windows based computer environment and Microsoft Office products. Accuracy and dependability required.
