Position: Clinical Dietitian, Children's Hospital, Full Time Days

Baystate Health, a nationally recognized leader in healthcare quality and home to Baystate Medical Center—the only academic medical center, Level 1 trauma center, and pediatric hospital in western Massachusetts is seeking a Registered Dietitian to join our inpatient team to support our Children’s Hospital at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, MA.

The compensation range(s) in the table below represent the base salaries for all positions at a given grade across the health system. Typically, a new hire can expect a starting salary somewhere in the lower part of the range. Actual salaries may vary by position and will be determined based on the candidate's relevant experience. No employee will be paid below the minimum of the range.

Pay ranges are listed as hourly for non-exempt employees and based on assumed full time commitment for exempt employees.

Minimum - Midpoint - Maximum

$59,758.00 - $68,681.00 - $81,224.00

Summary:

Under the general supervision of the department leadership, the Registered Dietitian (RD) practices within the Academy of Nutrition Dietetics' Scope of Practice in Nutrition Care and Scope of Professional Performance, the MA Statutes and Regulations (Dietitians and Nutritionists) and demonstrates Baystate Health's core values. The RD reflects the knowledge and skills necessary to provide expected standards of care based on physical, psychosocial, cultural, educational, spiritual, safety, and age-appropriate considerations of patients.

The RD assumes responsibility for the patient's nutrition plan of care and is held accountable for decisions specific to the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of the nutrition plan of care.
