Patient Access Representative

CCP specializes in providing comprehensive cardiology care and currently has over 30 locations throughout the Philadelphia region. We are currently hiring for a full-time Patient Care Representative at our Springfield, PA location.

Please note this role is entitled to a $500 sign-on bonus.*

• Schedule tests and follow-up appointments as patients leave the office
• Receive, greet, and direct patients
• Collect co-pays
• Prepare and review patient charts; preload new patient demographic and medical information.
• Verify patients’ insurance benefits and submit prior authorization requests.
• Document and communicate messages using proper medical terminology and EMR “phone note” workflows.
• Route emergency calls appropriately and elevate when needed.
• Perform general administrative support duties as assigned (filing, scanning, supply management, etc.).
• Other duties as assigned

• Must have experience in a medical office setting
• Previous Medical Assistant/Technician experience preferred
• Must have knowledge of different insurance
• Must have the ability to multitask
• Computer knowledge is a must
• Experience with an EMR system is a plus
• Must be well-spoken, friendly, and outgoing

* If you are hired, and assuming your employment is in good standing, you will receive the sign-on bonus. The bonus will be paid to you no later than 30 days following your start date. In the event that you voluntarily terminate your employment or the Company terminates your employment for cause within 6 months of your date of hire, you will be required to repay the full amount of your sign-on bonus.
