Transportation Associate - PRN – The Loomis Communities
SummaryResponsible for providing safe, courteous transportation service for our residents to and from special events, medical appointments and field trips. Proactively communicate with residents, employees, concierge and the management team to ensure necessary travel requirements are met. Represent the community with a positive attitude and pride when interacting with residents and families.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Perform job functions consistently with the mission and goals of The Loomis Communities; adhere to the Compliance and Ethics Program.
- Demonstrate sensitivity and respect for the diversity of residents, staff, families and other stakeholders.
- Transport residents on a scheduled basis, including evenings and weekends, while maintaining vehicles.
- Assist residents with boarding and disembarking, provide help from waiting rooms, and manage packages; ensure safety at all times.
- Coordinate trips with Reception/Security Staff for efficient pickup and delivery.
- Maintain mileage, time, and resident logs.
- Keep accurate safety documentation, perform checks, and report maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor.
Eighth grade education; high‑school diploma or GED accepted.
Required ExperienceClean driver history; no garnishments or citations.
Preferred Experience- Experience working with the older adult population.
- Massachusetts driver’s license.
- CPR certification.
- Apply common sense to carry out instructions.
- Resolve problems involving multiple variables.
- Read, write and speak English.
- Treat personnel, residents, and visitors with tact.
- Report to work promptly.
- Work beyond normal hours when necessary.
- Handle emotionally upset or confused residents.

Location & SalaryEnfield, CT – $52,416.00‑$64,064.00.
