CNC Milling Lathe Machinist | 2nd Shift

A manufacturing company is hiring an experienced CNC Lathe Machinist for 2nd Shift (3 PM - 11 PM), a Full-Time, Direct Placement position based in Springfield, MA.

• Set up and operate CNC lathe machines (3, 4, and 5-Axis) according to blueprint specifications
• Make machine adjustments and troubleshoot controllers, machines, and processes
• Select appropriate tools and set feeds and speeds to meet production requirements
• Perform inspections of machined parts using precision hand tools to ensure quality standards
• Work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining productivity
• Lift up to 70 lbs. as needed
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including tools, equipment, and machinery
• Monitor inventory and reorder tools as necessary

• High School Diploma or GED
• 8-10 years of CNC Machining (Lathe) experience in 3 & 4-Axis lathe setup and operation
• Strong background in 5-Axis machining
• Aerospace background preferred

• Pay Scale: $25 - $32/hr ($25,000 - $32,000)

This is a Full-Time, Direct Placement opportunity offering $25 - $32/hr for a skilled CNC Lathe Machinist to work with minimal supervision on 2nd Shift.
