The Marketing Specialist will support the development and execution of email marketing campaigns and donor-focused communications that drive awareness, fundraising, and engagement for Follow My Steps. This is a part-time position for a creative and organized individual who understands donor engagement strategies and values community-centered work.

- Develop and manage targeted email marketing campaigns using Constant Contact or a similar platform.
- Create newsletters and donor updates that highlight program impact, upcoming events, and funding opportunities.
- Support fundraising campaigns by crafting compelling donor appeals, follow-ups, and thank-you messages.
- Assist with sponsorship outreach, including writing sponsorship proposals and managing communication with corporate partners.
- Maintain and organize contact lists for donors, sponsors, and stakeholders.
- Analyze email and fundraising campaign performance and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Help coordinate campaign timelines in alignment with organizational goals and events.
- Minimum of one year of experience managing email marketing or fundraising campaigns.
- Experience using Constant Contact or a comparable email marketing tool such as Mailchimp, Hub Spot, or Brevo.
- Strong writing skills, with the ability to create clear, persuasive, and mission-aligned content.
- Familiarity with donor and sponsor communication best practices.
- Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects independently.
- Passion for youth empowerment, equity, and nonprofit work.
- Experience with donor databases or CRM tools.
- Familiarity with Givebutter or fundraising platforms.
- Background in grant research or donor stewardship strategies.
