Campaign Organizer
Location and Timeline:
We are hiring a campaign organizer for this position beginning ASAP and continuing through November 2026. Organizers must be based in or around Western Massachusetts, MA
The Outreach Team is the national engine of campaigners and organizers powering the young-people vote movement. With an on-the-ground presence in communities all across the country, our world-class team runs successful civic engagement campaigns to build a future that’s fairer, healthier, safer, and more peaceful for everyone. We are excited to be working with the Coalition for Healthy Democracy on a campaign to engage members of the community to advocate for a stronger democracy.
GeneralOverview:
Organizers will be charged with recruiting, training, and working with a team of volunteers in their local communities to drive action for electoral reform. Across the country, our political system is worse than ever. And Massachusetts is no longer the exception: we have the least competitive elections and the least transparent legislature in the country. This system keeps power in the hands of a few rather than the many.
Campaign Organizers will engage constituents around democracy reform and action opportunities in their communities. The Organizer will receive a fresh list of volunteer leads daily who they will work to engage on actions that build support for two ballot initiatives that would make government more transparent and create an open primary in the state. Organizers will also work to engage VIPs, stakeholders and community advocacy groups to endorse and support the statewide initiatives.
