American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a high-acuity Emergency Department position requiring at least 2 years of ED or ICU experience and an active MA RN license.
Requirements- Active MA RN license required
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of ED or ICU experience required, post-orientation
- Strong critical care skills and adaptability required for a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Work in a large, high-acuity 118-bed emergency department
- Diverse patient population including behavioral health, boarding patients, and critically ill/ICU-level cases
- Typical nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:6
- NOC shift, 3x12s totaling 36 hrs/week, with 4x12 schedules also available
- No on-call responsibilities
- Manage complex and unstable patients across a wide range of acuity levels
- Must be comfortable working in a dynamic, high-acuity emergency care setting
