Travel RN - ICU

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an ICU Float position requiring MA RN licensure and Level 1 trauma ICU or MICU experience.

• Active MA RN license required
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS (both through American Heart Association)
• Minimum 1 year experience in a Level 1 trauma ICU, or 2 years preferred experience in a MICU setting
• New graduate nurses with only 1 year of experience are not suitable for this unit

• Float position covering Medical ICU/HVCC, SICU, and IMC units
• 32-bed Medical ICU also licensed for Neuro Critical Care patients
• Patient ratios of 1:2, or 1:1 for higher acuity cases
• Cases include sepsis, ESRD and AKI requiring CRRT/CVVH, post cardiac arrest care, and respiratory failure
• 3x12-hour AM shifts totaling 36 hours per week
• No on-call responsibilities
• 48-hour contracts accommodated
• Join a Medical ICU and Neuro Critical Care team split across two floors with strong staffing support
• Looking for experienced ICU nurses with solid clinical backgrounds
