The IV Team provides specialized vascular access services throughout the hospital, collaborating with nursing staff, physicians, and interdisciplinary care teams to support safe and effective patient care. This highly skilled team plays a critical role in ensuring patients receive timely vascular access and infusion therapy services across a variety of inpatient populations.  The
** Registered Nurse
** role offers the opportunity to develop and utilize specialized vascular access expertise while working independently across multiple care settings. ** The Registered Nurse Will:
*** Assess patients and determine appropriate vascular access needs.
* Insert and maintain peripheral intravenous lines and other vascular access devices according to established standards and best practices.
* Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and bedside nursing teams to support patient care.
* Recognize changes in patient condition and intervene appropriately.
* Educate patients, families, and healthcare team members regarding vascular access therapies and care.
* Document assessments, procedures, interventions, and outcomes accurately and timely.
* Promote patient safety through adherence to infection prevention and regulatory standards.
* Participate in quality improvement initiatives, competency validation, and professional development activities.  ##
