Assistant Property Manager

Up to $23.50 per hour Springfield, MA Onsite

Job Description

• Provide administrative and operational support to the Property Manager
• Deliver excellent customer service to residents, applicants, and visitors
• Ensure all tenant documentation is completed accurately and in a timely manner
• Maintain organized tenant files and track annual recertifications and renewals
• Assist with unit inspections and property compliance requirements
• Support leasing efforts, including providing unit information and processing applications
• Assist with rent collection, monitoring receivables, and preparing notices and agreements
• Support eviction processes alongside the Property Manager as needed
• Assist with audits, budget preparation, and compliance monitoring (including affordable housing guidelines if applicable)

• 1+ year of property management or housing experience required
• Experience with affordable housing, Section 8, or recertifications required
• Strong administrative, organizational, and documentation skills
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred but not required
• Experience with Yardi or similar property management software preferred

• Paid holidays
• Steady weekday schedule (no nights or weekends)
