. The Account Manager assigned to a defined territory is a critical role within Würth MRO, responsible for the overall management, profitability, and revenue growth of aligned accounts. This individual is the main point of contact for customers—driving revenue activation, growth, and opportunity expansion. They will work cross‑functionally with all internal teams, ensuring exceptional service levels, revenue growth, profitability, and exceeding customer expectations.
The role requires continual generation of new business while servicing the existing territory base, involving cold calling of potential customers within the defined sales territory.
- Travel the defined territory to grow business through direct face‑to‑face contact with the customer base.
- Build customer relationships through face‑to‑face interactions, telephone conversations, e‑mail correspondences, and virtual meetings.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally to develop and service new and existing business.
- Plan, implement, and execute sales strategy, including quarterly business reviews, price maintenance, negotiations, profitability, and revenue growth.
- Utilize CRM and Hub Spot to track opportunities and drive the business.
- Use data from reporting to drive strategy, growth, and profitability.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Minimum 1 year of sales experience; industrial experience is a plus.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- Demonstrated computer and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with a proven ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
- Proficiency with project management tools and software.
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and emotional intelligence.
- Must have a valid driver’s license, valid auto insurance coverage, and access to a vehicle.
- Standard business hours and overnight travel – up to 50%.
Pay Starting at: $65,000/yr. Pay is based on several factors that vary by position, including labor markets, education, skills, work experience, and certifications. You may also be eligible to participate in an annual incentive bonus, depending on organizational performance.
