Systems Accountants is partnering with a growing software company in the Enterprise Performance Management space to hire a Business Development Representative.
About the RoleThis is an opportunity to start or advance a career in technology sales with a company that helps finance teams plan and make better decisions. Our client is expanding its Business Development team and seeks a motivated, self-directed BDR who enjoys initiating conversations and creating opportunities.
The role is primarily outbound. You will connect with senior finance leaders, understand the challenges they face, and schedule qualified meetings for the sales team. You will have room to shape your outreach approach and bring new ideas, including smarter ways to use technology, back to the team.
Key Responsibilities- Generate qualified meetings with senior finance decision-makers
- Run outbound campaigns across assigned target markets
- Follow up on inbound interest generated through marketing activity and events
- Research and prioritize accounts using data and AI-assisted tools
- Build and refine outreach sequences across email, phone, and Linked In
- Work closely with Sales and Marketing to hit pipeline targets
- Some quota-carrying business development or sales development experience, ideally in B2B SaaS; early-career candidates with the right drive will be considered
- Regular, hands-on use of AI tools in your day-to-day work
- Experience with cold calling, email outreach, and Linked In prospecting
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with CRM and sales engagement tools
- Experience with data enrichment or prospecting platforms
- Exposure to finance, FP&A, or EPM

Boston, MA (hybrid, three days per week in office) - Open to candidates in the Boston area or willing to relocate
- Compensation: $80,000 to $110,000 OTE
