Senior Refrigeration Service Technician - Commercial & Industrial; EG

Position Overview

Join Cool Sys as Senior Refrigeration Service Technician (Commercial & Industrial (EG)).

• Competitive pay: $35–$50 per hour DOE.

• Repair and overhaul refrigeration, heating, and ventilation equipment, exceeding customer expectations.
• General repair work on equipment such as air conditioning units, evaporative condensers, ice machine equipment, water pumps, gas furnaces, compressors, and electric motors.
• Preventative maintenance activities diagnosing equipment malfunctions and operating deficiencies.
• Test malfunctioning systems and components using electrical and/or mechanical skills.
• Maintain legible corporate and personal records of work history.
• Process job tickets and work orders promptly.
• Support by picking up, delivering, and installing cases.
• Perform work on minor construction and remodeling projects including startups of new installations.
• Drive company vehicle safely.
• Perform other related duties and projects as assigned by management.

• High school diploma or GED.
• EPA certification.
• Certification from an accredited vocational‑technical or trade school (plus).
• Minimum 5+ years of commercial refrigeration experience required.
• Experience working on refrigeration equipment in convenience stores or supermarkets (strong plus).
• Familiarity with single systems and rack systems; previous work on display cases and walk‑in boxes helpful.
• Good driving record; able to work independently.
• Emergency on‑call availability basic requirement.
• Must be able to lift to 60 lbs without assistance; sit/stand for several hours.
