Protective Services Case Manager

Full-time, 35 hours/week

Full-time position in the Protective Services Unit of the Elder Services Agency. Duties include intake, investigation, service plans and monitoring cases of abuse and neglect of elders. Requires home visits, knowledge of community resources, ability to work with families, case writing, record keeping and word processing skills. Must have a valid driver's license, reliable transportation and be available for rotating on-call duties.

Responsibilities
  • Intake and investigation of suspected abuse or neglect of elders.
  • Develop and implement service plans.
  • Monitor and oversee cases, including home visits.
  • Coordinate community resources and support families.
  • Write case notes, maintain accurate records, and handle word processing.
  • Attend rotating on‑call duties as needed.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Masters or higher degree in social work, psychology, counseling, human development, nursing, sociology, criminal justice, public health, public policy, or gerontology, AND at least one year of experience in counseling, casework, or case management, preferably in a Protective Services or crisis intervention role.
  • Bachelor's degree in the same fields AND at least two years of experience in counseling, casework, or case management providing protective or crisis intervention services.
  • Must be able to climb multiple flights of stairs.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Available for rotating on‑call duties.
