Overview
The Center for Human Development (CHD) is seeking a Stabilization Caseworker to join the Diversion, Shelter and Housing (DSH) division.

Position: Stabilization Caseworker
Role
:
Responsible for supporting families recently placed in permanent housing to maintain tenancy stability, while addressing mental health, substance use, and other collateral issues, and ensuring compliance with HomeBASE regulations and program guidelines.
Responsibilities
- Assist families recently placed in permanent housing to maintain the stability of their tenancies.
- Provide a supportive relationship to clients needing services addressing mental health, substance use, and other collateral issues.
- Work with families and staff to assure compliance with HomeBASE regulations and program guidelines.
- Actively support the philosophy of the agency and maintain a high level of commitment to program consumers and staff.
Requirements
- Experience working with psychiatric disorders or co-occurring populations preferred
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited educational institution preferred
- High school diploma or GED required
- Reliable, registered & insured vehicle and approved driving record check
- Approved criminal background check (CORI)

Compensation and Benefits
Pay rate is $21.00/hr. and includes a comprehensive benefits package with dental, health and life insurance, paid time off, earned vacation time and paid holidays.
