Group Fitness Instructor - Springfield, MA

Part-time, teaching 1 class/week

Health Fitness is looking for a Group Class Instructor to join the fitness team at our client site located in Springfield, Massachusetts. In this position you will provide fun, effective, and safe group exercise instruction to members participating in the program such as dance, kickboxing, step, boot camp, and circuit.

Client site is adding Group Fitness classes as a benefit to on-site employees. Starting with one class per week (Wednesdays 12pm-1pm) with potential to grow in the coming months.

Ideal candidate would be able to teach multiple formats. Format will change from month to month until the participants determine what they are most interested in.

• Current group exercise instructor certification from ACE, AFAA/NASM, ACSM, NETA, NCCPT, or other NCCA nationally accredited specialty class certification required.
• Adult CPR/AED and First Aid certifications from American Heart Association, American Red Cross or American Safety & Health Institute required prior to start date.
• 2+ years group exercise instruction experience strongly preferred.
• Ability to navigate electronic onboarding and timecard systems required.
• Applicants must meet hiring requirements including but not limited to pre-employment drug test.

Compensation: $40 - $50/class. Pay is dependent on experience and qualifications.
