Senior Accountant

The Senior Accountant will play a key role in the accounting function and handle a wide variety of corporate accounting responsibilities, including:

• Manage and support the month-end and year-end close process
• Prepare and review monthly financial statements and account reconciliations
• Perform financial analysis and investigate variances and trends
• Prepare journal entries, accruals, and supporting schedules
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and other management reporting
• Maintain accurate general ledger accounts and ensure proper accounting treatment
• Support audits and provide documentation and analysis as needed
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, reporting, and internal controls
• Take on additional responsibilities and projects as skills and experience develop

• 3+ years of corporate accounting experience
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial accounting principles
• Advanced Excel skills and comfort working with large data sets
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
• Self-motivated and eager to learn and take on increasing responsibility
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
