Job Overview

General Service Technician – Tire Technician at Sun Auto Tire & Service.

• Conduct non‑technical automotive service repairs such as oil changes, tire mounting/dismounting, wheel balance and tire rotation, and light vehicle maintenance.
• Use company inspection and repair order to document vehicle condition.
• Maintain cleanliness of shop, tire racks, showroom and outside the building.
• Provide safe customer transportation and pick up parts, supplies, tires from vendors using company vehicle.
• Perform State Safety and Emission Inspections where applicable.
• Follow all safety procedures and report concerns to supervisor.
• Work flexible schedules including weekends as needed.

• Valid driver's license.
• Preferred: general understanding of under‑the‑hood mechanical and under‑carriage assemblies.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

• Stand up to eight hours per day, walk to access various areas.
• Bend, stoop, kneel and crouch regularly; full range of motion with arms and hands.
• Lift and move up to 10 pounds regularly, 70 pounds frequently.
• Communicate with customers and shop personnel.
