How You’ll Contribute

As a Traveling Superintendent, you will supervise all phases of construction projects, helping us meet our strategic growth goals.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Schedule, coordinate, and supervise on-site trade activities during all project phases.
  • Adhere to the project schedule.
  • Communicate effectively with project team members to ensure work complies with drawings, specifications, and schedule.
  • Monitor and enforce safety requirements and implement corrective measures.
  • Maintain positive client relationships.
  • Attend and/or lead project meetings as required.
  • Assist in estimating, reviewing subcontractor and material proposals, and developing master schedules.
  • Review shop drawings, finalize as-builts, and coordinate project walk-throughs.

Requirements

This full-time position requires a bachelor's degree in engineering or construction management or an equivalent combination of technical training and experience. A minimum of 5 years of commercial construction experience as a superintendent is required. Computer skills are essential. Management and communication skills are critical. An advanced understanding of construction scheduling, cost control, and supervision of large teams is necessary. Experience with government and large projects is preferred.

Diverse project experience is important. Travel is required. A valid Driver's License must be maintained.
