POSITION SUMMARYBass Pro Shops is seeking a strategic and brand-focused Apparel Graphics and Logo Designer to join our Apparel Design team. This role is responsible for conceptualizing and developing original, brand-aligned designs for apparel and accessories that showcase the Bass Pro Shops logo and affiliated brands. You’ll help shape the product vision and visual identity of our logo wear collections, worn by millions of outdoor enthusiasts across North America.
ESSENTIALFUNCTIONS
- Design and develop logo apparel products including t-shirts, hoodies, hats, and accessories.
- Translate brand identity into compelling, wearable designs that resonate with outdoor enthusiasts.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product development, merchandising, and marketing teams to ensure alignment with seasonal strategies and business objectives.
- Create production-ready design files and ensure compliance with vendor specifications.
- Research and apply current trends in outdoor lifestyle, fashion, and retail branding to product design.
- Contribute to seasonal concept development, mood boards, and design presentations.
- Maintain organized digital asset libraries and uphold brand standards across all designs.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- ALL OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED
- Bachelor’s degree in Product Design, Fashion Design, Graphic Design, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in apparel product design, preferably within retail or lifestyle brands.
- Experience leveraging AI-powered design tools (e.g., generative design platforms, image synthesis, or predictive trend analysis) to enhance creativity and workflow efficiency.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
- Strong portfolio demonstrating product design, brand storytelling, and apparel graphics.
- Knowledge of screen printing, embroidery, and other apparel decoration techniques.
- Excellent time management, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Passion for the outdoors and familiarity with the Bass Pro Shops brand is a plus.
- Ability to use MS Office suite;
Proficient in use of MS Excel - Strong analytical and trouble shooting skills
- Attention to detail: visually and functionally

- Can work-around roadblocks using existing knowledge
- Sees the strategic goals of the company and can translate this to some aspects of their AOR

- Strong verbal and written communication skills; confident to present projects in group settings
- Domestic and International. Estimated travel less than 30 days per year.
- Regular computer work, and sitting
- Ability to use hand tools to di‑sect samples and use measuring gauges
- Occasional walking, standing, and lifting up to 50 lbs
- Performs duties within scope of general company policies, procedures, and objectives. Analyzes problems and performs needs assessments. Uses judgment in adapting broad guidelines to achieve desired result. Regular exercise of independent judgment within accepted practices. Makes recommendations that affect policies, procedures, and practices.
