Overview

This position is based on our campus in Madison, WI, and requires relocation to the area. We recruit nationally and provide financial relocation assistance.

As a UX Designer, you’ll act as the lead experience and visual designer for several development teams, setting the direction for joyful design. You’ll meet with end-users to understand their needs, research workflows, and observe applications in context. You’ll then work with developers to design intuitive, beautiful applications with sound information architecture, communicating ideas through sketches, wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, and interactive prototypes.

Relocation to the Madison, WI area (reimbursed) is available for this role.

Responsibilities

Lead experience and visual design for multiple development teams. Establish user-focused design directions, understand user needs, research workflows, and observe real-world application usage. Create and communicate design concepts at multiple fidelity levels, from sketches and wireframes to high-fidelity mockups and interactive prototypes. Collaborate with developers to ensure information architecture, usability, and aesthetics align with product goals.

Qualifications
  • A solid portfolio demonstrating strong user experience and visual design skills
  • Education or experience in user-centered design techniques
  • Bachelor's degree or greater
  • Relocation to the Madison, WI, area (reimbursed)
  • Eligible to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship
  • COVID-19 vaccination
  • Available to start before June 2026
