Physician – Mercy-GoHealth Urgent Care, Joplin, Missouri
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physician to join our urgent care team in the Joplin, Missouri area.

- Part of one of the fastest‑growing urgent care networks in the country
- Board‑certified or board‑eligible in Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or Med/Peds
- Active state medical license
- 2–5 years of post‑residency clinical experience, with at least 18 months in an urgent care or emergency medicine setting
- Experience treating patients across all age groups
- Proficiency in minor procedures such as suturing, splinting, and reading EKGs and X‑rays
- Strong communication and listening skills
- Comfort collaborating with advanced practice providers
- Perform exam, history, and diagnostic testing for acute conditions
- Make diagnoses and prescribe medications
- Perform minor procedures and administer vaccinations
- Document patient progress and coordinate follow‑up care
- Supervise and collaborate with PA/NPs, including remote supervision and credentialing support
- Work 8‑ or 12‑hour shifts in a fast‑paced, patient‑focused setting
