Physician Opportunity – Mercy‑GoHealth Urgent Care - Joplin, MissouriMercy‑GoHealth Urgent Care is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physician to join our team in the Joplin, Missouri area. Flexible scheduling options are available, including full‑time and part‑time roles, in a collaborative and modern clinical environment.

- Board‑certified or board‑eligible in Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or Med/Peds
- Active state medical license
- 2–5 years of post‑residency clinical experience, with at least 18 months in an urgent care or emergency medicine setting
- Experience treating patients across all age groups
- Proficiency in minor procedures such as suturing and splinting, and in reading EKGs and X‑rays
- Strong communication and listening skills
- Comfort collaborating with advanced practice providers
- Examining and treating patients with acute conditions
- Taking medical histories and ordering diagnostic tests
- Making diagnoses and prescribing medications
- Performing minor procedures and administering vaccinations
- Documenting patient progress and coordinating follow‑up care
- Supervising and collaborating with PA/NPs, including remote supervision and credentialing support
- Working 8‑ or 12‑hour shifts in a fast‑paced, patient‑focused setting
