** Overview
* * Join an established Pulmonary Critical Care team in a high-acuity, technologically advanced environment. This nocturnist role offers the opportunity to manage complex ICU patients while working alongside a collaborative group of experienced physicians in a large tertiary care center.
** Practice Details
*** Team of 11 experienced Pulmonary Critical Care physicians
* 706-bed hospital with Level I Trauma designation
* 76 adult ICU beds
* Physician-led intensivist program
* Collaborative, team-based ICU model--
- ** Key Responsibilities
*** Provide overnight critical care management in the ICU
* Evaluate and treat critically ill patients
* Perform advanced pulmonary and critical care procedures including:
* EBUS (Endobronchial Ultrasound)
* Airway stenting
* APC (Argon Plasma Coagulation)
* EBES procedures
* Coordinate care with multidisciplinary ICU teams
* Ensure high-quality, evidence-based patient outcomes--
- ** Practice Environment
*** High-volume, high-acuity ICU setting
* Strong support from nursing, respiratory therapy, and specialty services
* Advanced technology and procedural capabilities
* Established and stable physician group--
- ** Qualifications
* ** Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pulmonary Critical Care Medicine
* Eligible for medical licensure in Missouri
* Strong procedural and critical care skills
