Emergency Medicine Physician

Mercy Hospital - Springfield is seeking a dedicated emergency medicine physician to join their high-volume, hospital-employed group in Missouri. Providers will work in an 886-bed level I trauma center featuring over 80,000 annual ED visits, advanced technology like EPIC EMR and Microsoft DAX, and a collaborative team of specialists. • Level I trauma center for Missouri and Arkansas
• 886-bed, level I, tertiary trauma, and catchment hospital for four states
• 80,000+ annual ED visits
• 80-bed emergency department
• 11-bed pediatric emergency department with most peds specialties available
• EPIC EMR across Mercy
• Microsoft DAX for efficient charting

Compensation

• $260/hour minimum floor with ability to earn more with wRVUs
• $150,000 recruitment bonus
• $100/hour excess hour premium (optional)

Shift & Schedule

• 9-hour shifts - 7 for patient care and last 2 for clean-up
• 13 physician shifts each day - no single coverage
• Variety of shifts available at other hospitals for change of pace
• Schedule set three months in advance
• Flexible scheduling
