Dallas County Technical Center is currently accepting applications for an Automotive Technology Instructor for the school year. The position starts immediately. Applicants should be highly knowledgeable and versatile in the Auto Mechanics industry, be ASE certified, and must be willing and able to obtain Career Education Certification. This individual will also be required to pass a background check and will be properly vetted throughout the hiring processp>
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college or university plus 4,000 hours of department‑approved, closely related occupational experience within the past ten years.
- Associate’s degree from an accredited college or university plus 5,000 hours of department‑approved, closely related occupational experience within the past ten years.
- No degree but 6,000 hours of department‑approved, closely related occupational experience within the past ten years.
Preferred candidates would have teaching experience; but not required. Candidates without prior teaching experience must have 2‑3 years of closely related occupational experience within the past 10 years. This is a 9‑month position and comes with a competitive benefit package.
