• Complete complex mechanical, electrical, and field construction activities.
• Collect and assemble data, develop estimates, and generate systems and bid analysis.
• Develop budgetary M/E estimates and participate in preconstruction analysis.
• Manage mechanical and electrical scopes during bidding, including system analysis and value engineering.
• Coordinate sequencing requirements and provide scheduling input.
• Conduct inspections, develop shop drawing and commissioning plans, and verify functional testing.
• Lead and mentor junior team members.
• Promote diversity and inclusion and adhere to JE Dunn’s non‑discrimination policies.

• Review options, recommend best systems, and provide value engineering suggestions.
• Develop sequencing solutions and inject scheduling input into projects.
• Review design documents for potential quality issues and contribute to quality control programs.
• Develop pre‑functional checklists, functional testing procedures, and commission plans.
• Generate and issue commissioning plans for approval.
• Verify deficiencies are corrected and submit commissioning documentation to owners.
• Create M/E tools and innovative solutions to improve processes.

• Accurate, timely work production.
• Strong verbal and written communication (intermediate).
• Proficiency in MS Office (intermediate).
• Ability to read and understand plans, drawings, specifications.
• Familiarity with JE Dunn construction M/E tools and software.
• Understanding of construction management methods.
• Team collaboration and relationship building.

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, or architectural engineering (required).
• Equivalent relevant experience may be considered.

• 5+ years of construction and/or engineering experience (preferred).

• Valid, unrestricted driver’s license required.
