Olsson provides multidisciplinary design services for some of the largest and most forward-thinking and desirable companies in the world to work for. We design large hyperscale data center campuses and colocation data centers throughout the U.S. This role will give you the opportunity to work on some of the largest and most complex engineering-driven projects being built today. Our clients are relational and truly value the work we do for them, affording us the opportunity to contribute to society’s technological and connected community through the design of critical infrastructure.

As a Senior Civil Designer with a grading & utility focus, you will work in a collaborative team environment on multidisciplinary complex projects. You will work closely with licensed engineers on plans and calculations, utilizing your expertise in Civil 3D and CAD software. In addition to sheet production work, you will also independently design utilities and surfaces with the oversight of an engineer.

You will need advanced skills in Civil 3D and CAD software to create accurate and efficient design solutions, develop detailed drawings and models, and communicate design intent effectively. A Senior Civil Designer for this team will frequently design using pipe networks, pressure pipe networks, and surfaces containing corridors and feature lines. Scale of projects for this team start at roughly 20 acres and often exceed 200 acres for a single campus.

• Strong communication skills
• Ability to contribute and work well on a team
• Associate’s degree in drafting or related field preferred
• 8 or more years of expertise in drafting and design
• Experience in surface creation, analysis, utility design, and BIM coordination
• Proficiency in Civil 3D software

Colorado Pay Range: $87,000‑$114,000
