We are hiring a Staff Accountant – Fixed Assets at O'Reilly Auto Parts
.
The role focuses on accounting for the company's fixed assets, construction in progress, and leases. Responsibilities include journal entries, analysis, research, preparation of reports and schedules, budgeting, and special projects.
Essential Job Functions- Prepare monthly journal entries.
- Analyze capital expenditure and expense trends & budget to actual variances.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting of capital expenditures and expenses.
- Prepare various financial reports, schedules, and analyses.
- Lead special projects.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Proficient with spreadsheet and word processing software.
- Ability to work with limited supervision.
- High accuracy.
