Automotive Title Clerk

Reliable Chevrolet is looking for a customer oriented person with a positive attitude to join our fast-paced accounting team as a full-time incoming title clerk. If you are able to prioritize tasks by understanding the urgency of a project and occasionally be a to switch gears, we want to speak with you!

• Monday through Friday schedule (occasional weekend/holiday hours may be needed for month end close)

• Receive and process paperwork from Finance and Insurance team
• Prepare payoff checks for new vehicles and trade-ins
• Receive trade jackets on new and used car deals
• Run reports for trades
• Input inventory control information into system
• Communicate with various banks to check on status of a lien release
• Apply for duplicate title on trades without titles
• Obtain lien releases on paid off titles
• Maintain spreadsheet on trade titles for Controller
• File trade jackets
• Work with wholesale dealers to process wholesale trades
• Submit dealer report to Missouri Dept of Revenue by 15th of each month
• Other duties as assigned

• Previous experience as an Automotive Title Clerk is required
• High school diploma / GED
• Ability to pass background checks and drug screen
• Strong communication skills
• Team Player
